Geo-SAFER Mindanao Conducts Annual Progress Reporting and Monitoring

In order to present and assess the program’s accomplishments for its 1st year of implementation, the Geo-SAFER Mindanao Program conducted its annual progress reporting and monitoring last July 9-10, 2018 at the University of the Philippines – Mindanao, Davao City.

The said activity was attended by the Project Leaders and representatives from the component projects of the program implemented by five (5) Higher Education Institutions namely: Caraga State University, Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Central Mindanao University, Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology and University of the Philippines – Mindanao.

Personnel from the program’s funding agency, the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology Research and Development (DOST-PCIEERD), Ms. Clarinda G. Reyes and Ms. May-Rose Pariñas were also present to monitor the said activity.

A program meeting was also conducted in order to discuss matters and addressed concerns relevant to the improvement of the program as it begins with its second year of implementation.
