Engr. Jesiree L. Serviano and Engr. Joy C. Casinginan, members of the Geo-SAFER Agusan Hazard Information Dissemination team (HIDT) presented three (3) research papers during the 38^th Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS) last October 23-27, 2017 at New Delhi, India.

Presented during the ACRS were the research studies collaboratively written and conducted by select Geo-SAFER Agusan personnel entitled: “Simulating the Effects of Dredging to River Hydraulic Characteristics Using LiDAR”; “Mapping and Assessment of Flood Control Structures in Butuan City, Mindanao, Philippines using LiDAR and Flood Model Simulation”; and “Identification of Potential Water Source for Butuan City, Northeastern Mindanao, Philippines through Watershed Delineation and Characterization”.

Bearing the theme “Space Applications: Touching Human Lives”, the 38^th ACRS was considered as an avenue on discussing technical issues and presenting research studies which was participated by students, researchers, professionals, practitioners, and policymakers across Asia.
