Geo-SAFER Agusan holds Stakeholders’ Meeting
In order to ensure that its activities, outputs and training to be conducted are in accordance to the needs and concerns of its beneficiaries and partner agencies, the Geo-SAFER Agusan Project conducted a Stakeholders’ Meeting last September 6, 2018 at Almont Inland Hotel, Butuan City.

The event was attended by representatives from the project’s partner Provincial and Local Government Units and other agencies. Among the highlights of the meetings were the presentation of the project’s current status and next steps, training needs assessment, discussions on the sustainability of the project and presentation of proposed sustainability plans. Engr. Meriam Makinano-Santillan, Project Leader of Geo-SAFER Agusan, considers this activity vital to the project especially that it is already on its second implementing year. She also thanked the partner LGUs and agencies for their active cooperation with Geo-SAFER Agusan.

“It is one of our mandates to not just successfully implement the project but also to make sure that our outputs will be used and sustained by our beneficiaries. This activity is not for us but actually for you, our stakeholders”, she added.
